Mikko Suomi

Since I was a young boy (not little ever) I tried to play with every instrument ever had in my hands. Few of them just stuck better in my hands so later started to make music with them. I am musician and author from Turku, Finland. Musical roots are dug deep into the heavier field of rock music. As a young adult there was extensive band activity and line-ups changed frequently. Bands included Cerebrum, Crimson Midwinter, Shadow Lands, Ancient Dream to name a few. In all projects the common denominator was heavier, electric guitar-driven melodic metal, with influences from classical heavy bands and nineties metal. When getting older and life situation changed, the music shifted more to composition and home studio recordings. on that basis and with these influences, there have been created more than thousand songs both in English and Finnish. Some of my songs are made for other artists and some to advertisements. Strong musical influences can also be felt in author Mikko Suomi's books.
