My Story
I am a writer from Turku, Finland. Writing is not my occupation but it is more like hobby. My first book, Atlantiksen Perilliset (Heirs of Atlantis) was published in the year 2012 after a long process. The seed of the story comes from my essay writing when I was still in the high school. I think it was the only essay my teacher liked. Years later I remembered that story and thought I could add some colors to it. At the same time one of my friends published his first book and I wanted to do the same with my story. Five long years later the novel was ready and finally it was also published. Megalomaniac story changed reasonable along the way and I am more than satisfied to the final result. The first book is always the first book. For sure there is always something to improve, No one can be expected to be an expert at something before they have got the chance to practice it. What so ever, at the beginning of that writing process I decided that this is not going to be the last book from me. Now the story goes on with the same main characters and I have also some entirely new stories to come...

Aigeianmerellä, Theran kaupunki vuonna 1628 ennen ajanlaskun alkua, kevät.
Tuhkasade jatkui jo kolmatta päivää. Koko kaupunki oli muuttunut vaalean harmaaksi ja kastuneen nuotionpohjan hajuiseksi. Lähes kaikki saaren asukkaat olivat jo lähteneet merenylitys matkalle toivottuun turvasatamaan Kreetalle. Vehnäpellot, oliivitarhat ja rypälepensaat olivat peittyneet harmaan valkoiseen peitteeseen, kuin pohjoisen tutkimusmatkalta palanneiden kertomukset talvesta ja lumesta.
Kylänvanhin oli muiden filosofikastin jäsenten kanssa neuvotellut kansan aarteiden turvaan saattamisesta. Suurimmat ja arvokkaimmat kirjakääröt, maljat ja pronssiesineet oli lastattu Kreetalle lähteneisiin laivoihin. Minolaisen kulttuurin tärkeimmät tiedot eivät kuitenkaan olleet turvattuja vain yhden keinon avulla. Filosofit olivat tienneet jo pitkään mitä tuleman piti. Thera tuhoutuu, räjähtää ja vajoaa merenpohjaan, niin olivat ennustukset kertoneet jo vuosisatojen ajan. Merkkinä tulevasta tuhosta oli uskomuksen ja ennustuksen mukaan, oleva tuhkasade! Ihmiskunnan historian kehittynein, vaurain ja mahtavin kansa oli tiennyt jo pitkään olevansa kuolemanpartaalla. He olivat kuitenkin varautuneet tähän. Esi-isien ennustuksissa oli myös kerrottu, että jos edes osa kansasta selviytyy, tulee koittamaan vielä uusi aika, jolloin minolaiset nousevat takaisin mahtiasemaansa...
